Lunch with Warren Buffett

July 3rd, 2007 Posted in General, Make More Money, Make More of Your Life, Work Less

Last week, Warren Buffett held his annual charity auction on eBay. Two investors topped the other pre-qualified bidders with a winning bid of $650,100. The winners and five of their guests will join Mr. Buffett for lunch at the Smith & Wollensky steakhouse in New York City. The auction benefits the Glide Foundation, which provides social services to the poor and homeless in San Francisco.

How cool would that be? To be able to ask Warren Buffett your burning questions about investing, or philanthropy, or life?

I’ve participated in several lunches like this, both on the advising side, and as someone seeking advice. Either way, I’ve always been enriched by the experience. It’s a great way to connect with like-minded people, and the ideas that flow can help you to grow your business, and improve your quality of life.

Although distance prevents most of us from having lunch together in person, I do have an idea. How about “Virtual Lunch with Brian?” (Don’t worry, you won’t have to bid on eBay, and you won’t have to pay a dime!)

If you wanted my answer to the most important questions you have about working less, increasing your income, or making more of your life, what questions would you ask?

I know this is very open-ended, but that’s how it would be it we were actually having lunch together. Please be sure to make your questions clear and specific, though.

What is it that you most want to know? The answers to your questions might be the catalyst you need to take you from where you are to where you want to be. They might help you to break through whatever obstacle is holding you back. They might be the key to the “hidden treasure” of the success that you have been seeking.

Because I expect dozens—maybe even hundreds—of questions to come in, it may take me a little time to answer them all.

Email me brian(a)jwcgroup(dot)com or post a blog response, and ask any and all questions you would like answered.
